Board Members: Fighting to protect our region from Growler jet pollution

The Sound Defense Alliance is seeking new Board Members!

Sound Defense Alliance is a non-partisan organization that works to protect communities and the natural environment from harmful Navy Growler jet activity around the Salish Sea, Puget Sound, and the Olympic Peninsula.

Are you interested in joining a board that works on behalf of our Island and regional communities? Do you care about the Salish Sea and Puget Sound’s environment? Do you care about supporting a quiet soundscape and landscape? Is protecting endangered species, including Southern Resident orcas, from jet noise important to you?

SDA's board is interested in finding solutions to the increased jet noise pollution and operational training on Whidbey Island. We work in collaborations with other groups and seek networkers to advocate for a balanced partnership between citizens and the military in Washington State. SDA has lots of opportunities and ways to get involved.

Together, we can make a better and more sustainable future for all who call this region home.
